Biography

Photography became an obsession from an early age. My mother was a keen photographer and at a family wedding when she wasn't looking, I grabbed one of those Kodak throwaway cameras and hid under the table, clicking at the people dancing in their posh outfits. Landing in Australia in 2003, I've developed a particular passion for street and documentary photography and soon became the 'unofficial' Brits in WA' social photographer.

Artist Statement

Documenting the unpredictable juxtaposition of modern western australia through the camera lens: the refracted alienlike light through grimy city windows, the perth live music scene filling the streets with colourful sound in black and white, i use the magic of filters to digitally enhance city life.
